Ahead of the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21, Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called a meeting of the National Security Council.
According to her press advisor Ram Bahadur Rawal, the meeting will be held at 3:00 PM at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers in Singha Durbar.
“The meeting, to be chaired by the Prime Minister, will discuss election preparations, security arrangements, and other contemporary issues,” Rawal told Nepal Khabar.
The National Security Council, chaired by the Prime Minister, includes the Home Minister, Defense Minister, Foreign Minister, Finance Minister, and the Chief of Army Staff, among other members.
Earlier today, a meeting of the Central Security Committee was also held under the chairmanship of Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal.
