Prime Minister Sushila Karki–led interim government is set to expand the Cabinet once again. PM Karki is preparing to induct four new ministers, marking the fourth expansion of her Council of Ministers.
A swearing-in ceremony for the newly appointed ministers has been scheduled for today at 3 PM at the Office of the President, Sheetal Niwas.
According to sources, Shraddha Shrestha will take charge of the Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens; Kumar Ingam will lead the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; Rajendra Singh Bhandari will head the Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Security; and Madhav Chaulagain will assume responsibility for the Ministry of Forests and Environment.
With the new appointments, the Cabinet will now have a total of 14 members.
