
Prime Minister Sushila Karki held a conversation with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The discussion took place virtually from the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office at Singha Durbar.
According to officials from the Prime Minister’s Office, the conversation lasted about 20 minutes, with officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also present.
This marks PM Karki’s first discussion with a foreign counterpart since assuming office. During the conversation, PM Modi expressed his readiness to work with Karki’s government, commending the peaceful transition amid recent developments.
Modi also assured that India would continue its support for Nepal’s democratic process and reconstruction efforts.
