The Prithvi Highway near Badre Mode in Ward No. 10 of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality, Dhading, has been partially reopened after being blocked by a landslide.
According to the Dhading District Police Office, the road was completely obstructed by a dry landslide early Saturday morning around 6:45 am. Traffic has now been allowed to move in one direction, following the removal of debris with the help of JCB machinery.
The prolonged blockage had caused significant traffic jams. Police have warned that clearing the landslide completely remains challenging due to falling rocks from above.
