The Prithvi Highway has reopened for two-way traffic after being blocked by a dry landslide at Jwankhola in Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality–10 on Monday night around 10 p.m. According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bheshraj Rijal of the Dhading District Police Office, the landslide was cleared to resume traffic.
He cautioned, however, that the risk has not yet been fully mitigated, as debris continues to slide while bulldozers work to clear the area. Vehicles stranded during the blockage have resumed their journeys, but heavy traffic in the area has resulted in congestion. (RSS)
