The Madhesh Province government has announced a public holiday today (Friday) across the province.
According to a notice issued by Bimal Prasad Baral, Secretary at the Ministry of Home, Communication, and Law, the decision was made as per the additional holiday provision mentioned in the provincial gazette published on Chaitra 22, 2081 B.S.
The holiday has been declared on the occasion of Mohammad Jayanti, the ministry stated.
