Rastriya Janamorcha has made its election manifesto public, becoming the first political party to do so for the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21.
The manifesto was unveiled on Wednesday at a program held in Butwal by party Chairman Chitra Bahadur KC, Acting Chairman Rashmiraj Nepali, Vice Presidents Durga Paudel and Janakraj Sharma, and General Secretary Manoj Bhatt.
Speaking at the event, Chairman KC said Nepali voters must correct past mistakes through the upcoming election. He stated that the country and its people have suffered because voters often elected corrupt and anti-people individuals and parties based on rumors rather than carefully reviewing their manifestos.
KC also warned that foreign interference in Nepal has increased alarmingly. He appealed to voters to support Rastriya Janamorcha candidates to safeguard national sovereignty, protect the current constitution, oppose corruption, ensure good governance, and abolish federalism.
According to General Secretary Manoj Bhatt, the manifesto is divided into three sections. The first section includes an appeal from Chairman KC, explaining why and for what purpose voters should support the party’s candidates.
The second section analyzes Nepal’s political situation following the Gen-Z movement. Janamorcha has claimed that the movement emerged due to poor governance and corruption, but was later hijacked with the backing of foreign forces, leading to unrest in the country. The party described this as a serious conspiracy.
