Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa) Chairman Ravi Lamichhane is being brought to Kathmandu today.
Lamichhane, who has been in custody for the cooperative fraud case, is set to be transferred to Nakkhu Prison. The prison administration had decided on the transfer yesterday based on a request submitted by Lamichhane. He is scheduled to arrive in Kathmandu from Bhairahawa at 3:10 PM via Buddha Air. His wife Nikita is also preparing to receive him at the airport, along with supporters.
Raswapa has claimed that political revenge is being taken against Lamichhane and has launched a signature campaign in his support. Lamichhane has been in Rupandehi Prison since Chaitra 25 following an order from the Butwal High Court.
