Rastriya Swatantra Party is organizing a two-day orientation program for its newly elected Members of Parliament starting today.
According to the party’s General Secretary Kavindra Burlakoti, mobile phone use has been prohibited during the orientation program for MPs elected through both direct and proportional representation systems.
The program is being held at a hotel in Gwarko. It has been reported that party chairman Rabi Lamichhane will participate only in the closing session of the event.
In the election held on Falgun 21, the Rastriya Swatantra Party secured 182 seats in total, winning 125 seats under the direct system and 57 seats through proportional representation.
