The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has relieved the in-charges of all seven provinces from their responsibilities. A Secretariat meeting held on Tuesday decided to remove the leaders serving as provincial in-charges from their roles.
According to the party, the vacant provincial in-charge positions will now be filled by central committee members. Those previously serving as provincial in-charges were also members of the party’s Secretariat. The decision was taken in view of the upcoming election on Falgun 21, the party stated.
The Secretariat’s decision reads: “Expressing gratitude to the Secretariat members who have been fulfilling the role of provincial in-charge, we decided to assign them responsibilities focused on upcoming election-related activities and appoint central committee members as new provincial in-charges.”
Last Baishakh, the RSP had appointed in-charges for all seven provinces.
As per the earlier appointments: Santosh Pariyar was in charge of Koshi, Manish Jha of Madhesh, Lima Adhikari of Bagmati, Shishir Khanal of Gandaki, Bipin Acharya of Lumbini, Ganesh Parajuli of Karnali, and Hari Dhakal of Sudurpaschim.
