The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RASWAPA) will hold a central committee meeting on Thursday to decide on its parliamentary party leader. The meeting coincides with the swearing-in ceremony of the party’s newly elected members of parliament on Chaitra 12 at 2:00 PM.
The party has scheduled a separate meeting at 4:00 PM on the same day to discuss the selection of its parliamentary leader. Party spokesperson Manish Jha stated that the meeting will be chaired by party president Ravi Lamichhane at the party’s central office in Bansthali.
All central committee members have been instructed to attend, and the agenda will include discussions on various topics. In the recent parliamentary elections held on Falgun 21, RASWAPA secured 125 seats through the direct election system and 57 seats through proportional representation.
