Ravi Lamichhane, Chairperson of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (Raswapa), and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balen Shah are currently engaged in one-on-one discussions.
The talks are taking place at the residence of Balen Shah’s associate, Kumar Ben, in Jawal, Lalitpur.
Earlier, leaders including Sudan Gurung, Sunil Sharma, and Ganesh Karki had visited Ben’s residence for initial discussions. After the first phase of group-level talks among all leaders, the current stage involves direct talks between Lamichhane and Shah.
These discussions are seen as part of efforts to coordinate and align strategies among emerging political forces ahead of the upcoming elections.
