Nepal made history by topping the qualifiers to book a World Cup spot for the first time and by winning a bilateral series against a Test nation — clinching the series 2–1.
However, Nepal’s performance in the ICC World Cup League 2 was forgettable, suffering two losses each against the UAE and the USA.
The team was welcomed at the airport by Youth and Sports Minister Babu Gupta and CAN Secretary Paras Khadka.
