The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) continued their boycott of the House of Representatives meeting today.
RSP lawmaker Biraj Bhakta Shrestha and RPP lawmaker Deepak Bahadur Singh expressed their views during the session before walking out in protest.
MP Shrestha reiterated that their protest will continue until a high-level investigation committee is formed to probe the visit visa scandal. He criticized the current investigation committee as inadequate and superficial.
Similarly, RPP MP Singh stated that the government has shown no concern over the issue and accused the Speaker of the House of ignoring the matter.
Both parties have been demanding the formation of a high-level probe commission into the visit visa scandal and have been continuously protesting in Parliament since Jestha 13 (May 26).
