Under the House of Representatives election, Shishir Khanal, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has been elected from Kathmandu Constituency No. 6.
According to the final results announced on Friday, Khanal secured 27,719 votes out of a total of 43,863 votes counted.
His closest rival, Sabuj Baniya of the Nepali Congress, received 6,647 votes, while Aman Maske of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist–Leninist) secured 4,373 votes.
