Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairperson Rabi Lamichhane has expressed his support for the Gen Z movement from Nakkhu Prison. In a statement released through his private secretariat on Sunday, he described the youth-led protest, set to begin tomorrow, as a historic turning point.
Lamichhane stated, “The rulers not only denied you the rule of law and justice, but also snatched away even the small corner of social media where you shared your joys and sorrows, successes and failures. Yet, with your conscience and passion, you hold the power to change the course of this nation’s history.”
He characterized tomorrow as the beginning of a new chapter in history, urging the youth to remain vigilant and move forward wisely. Warning of possible infiltration and provocations during the protest, he called for restraint and patience.
Conveying his solidarity, Lamichhane remarked, “Your own history, and the history of this nation, is being written by your hands,” sending his goodwill and support from the prison cells of Nakkhu.
