The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has nominated Ashika Tamang as its candidate for the House of Representatives from Dhading Constituency No. 1.
On Monday, party leader Ganesh Parajuli handed over the election ticket to Tamang at the RSP central office.
According to RSP central member Ojaswi Thapa, Tamang will contest the House of Representatives election from Dhading-1.
Earlier, Tamang had indicated that she might contest the election as an independent candidate from Kathmandu Constituency No. 9 or 2. However, she has ultimately decided to enter the electoral race from Dhading-1 with the RSP ticket.
