The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is holding a parliamentary party meeting today.
According to General Secretary and MP Kavindra Burlakoti, the meeting will take place at 1 PM at the party office in Singha Durbar.
The meeting will discuss the Deputy Speaker election as well as other political issues. The party has called the meeting to prepare internally ahead of the election of the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, which will take place today at 4 PM.
Two candidates are contesting for the post: Rubee Kumari Thakur of the Shram Sanskriti Party and Saraswati Lama of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP).
The RSP has announced that it will support Rubee Kumari Thakur in the election.
