Sanigad Hydro Limited has opened its Initial Public Offering (IPO) from today for project-affected local residents and Nepalis working abroad.
The company had received approval to issue 8.55 million shares, equivalent to 30% of its issued capital. In this phase, 2.85 million shares have been allocated for local residents, while 570,000 shares are reserved for Nepalis employed overseas.
Under the local category, residents from wards 1, 2, and 4 of Bungal Municipality—considered highly affected—along with residents from other wards, are eligible to apply. Applicants can apply for a minimum of 10 shares and a maximum of 20,000 shares.
The IPO for locals will remain open at the earliest until Chaitra 22 and may be extended until Baisakh 7 if not fully subscribed.
For Nepalis working abroad, the application deadline is as early as Chaitra 11.
The issue manager for the IPO is Laxmi Sunrise Capital Limited.
