Following the accident, the auto and its driver, Binod Khadka, have been taken into custody by the Bhoteodar Police Office. Preliminary investigations suggest the auto was carrying more passengers than its capacity, and due to rainfall, the driver lost control at the bend, causing the vehicle to veer off the road. Further investigation is underway.
