Former president of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI) and industrialist Shekhar Golchha has said that he has not been discouraged or disheartened even though his industry and private residence were attacked and set on fire during the Gen-Z protests.
Writing on social media, Golchha stated that neither he nor his family had been shaken, and expressed hope that the dreams of the new generation for a transformed Nepal would be fulfilled.
He wrote:
“May the dreams of the new generation for a new Nepal come true with positive change in the country. Although some businesspeople, including my family, were affected by brutal attacks, neither I nor my family are discouraged or disheartened. With today’s golden dawn, may the nation move forward positively and democracy be further strengthened. With this belief, I want to assure that we remain firmly committed to creating jobs and investing. May the light after darkness give us Nepalis more strength to uphold harmony and unity.”
