
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) witnessed a sharp decline today (Sunday), dropping 78.83 points to close at 2,503.35 points.
A total of 14,364,682 shares of 324 companies were traded today, with a total turnover of Rs. 6.70 billion (6 Arba 70 Crore 72 Lakh 45 Thousand 266). All sectors recorded a decline.
Among the gainers, Nepal Micro Insurance Company saw the highest rise of 6.01%, followed by Panchakanya Mai Hydro, which increased by 4.90%.
On the losing side, Butwal Power Company suffered the sharpest drop of 9.27%.
In terms of trading volume, Nepal Reinsurance Company (NRIC) led the market with transactions worth Rs. 380.7 million, followed by NLG Insurance, which recorded Rs. 371.7 million in turnover.
