A bus carrying students on a field trip to Ranimahal in Palpa met with an accident on Friday morning.
According to the Palpa District Police Office, 11 people sustained minor injuries in the incident. The bus (registration no. Na 5 Kha 1089) was traveling from the Sadharan Namuna Secondary School in Rajpur, Dang, heading toward Palpa when it crashed at around 6 AM.
DSP Hom Prakash Chaudhary of Palpa Police said the bus went out of control and hit the roadside wall near Baikanthé cliff in Tansen Municipality–13 while heading toward Ranimahal.

- Damodar Reule (22), Ghorahi-11
- Santosh Dhakal (35), the driver, Ghorahi-14
- Sandhya Bhandari (12), Rajpur-5
- Dil Kumari Rawat (18), Rajpur-6
- Santoshi Chaudhary (10), Rajpur-6
- Ajay Nepali (19)
- Sirjana Yadav (23), Rajpur-5
- Ayush Bhandari (13)
- Abhishek Yadav (15)
- Basanta Yogi (35), Ghorahi-9
Police said all the injured have been sent to Mission Hospital, Tansen for treatment.
