The Supreme Court is set to begin hearings today on 16 writ petitions filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives.
According to Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala, the preliminary hearing will be held on the writs demanding mandamus and certiorari orders regarding the annulment of the Prime Minister’s appointment, the dissolution of Parliament, and the reinstatement of the House.
Koirala informed that all 16 writ petitions will be heard together in the Constitutional Bench.
