A suspension bridge over the Arun River in Makalu Rural Municipality has collapsed.
The incident occurred on the Numb–Seduwa internal road section, located at the boundary of Wards 5 and 2 of Makalu Rural Municipality. Truck driver Arjun Shrestha was injured in the accident.
Rescue operations are currently underway to evacuate and provide medical assistance to the injured driver.
