A man was found dead under suspicious circumstances in Janakpurdham on Thursday morning.
The unidentified male was discovered lying in front of a shop shutter at Vishwakarma Chowk. After locals noticed the body early in the morning, they immediately informed the police.
Following the report, a team from Dhanusha Police arrived at the scene and began a preliminary investigation. Due to the suspicious nature of the death, the area has been secured for further inquiry.
Authorities have stated that the identity of the deceased is still unknown, and the exact cause of death has yet to be determined. The body is being prepared to be sent for post-mortem examination.
According to local residents, the man had been seen wandering around the area since the previous day. Police say the investigation is ongoing.
