Three people have died and eight others were injured in a jeep accident at Chiuribas in Nisdi Rural Municipality–4 of Palpa district.
According to the District Police Office, the jeep (Lu 1 Ja 3908) was traveling from Arun Khola in Mityali toward Rampur when it met with an accident today.
District Police Office spokesperson DSP Hom Prakash Chaudhary confirmed that three passengers lost their lives, but their identities have not yet been established.
Eight injured passengers were rescued and transported to Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital in East Nawalparasi for treatment, DSP Chaudhary added.
The cause of the accident has not been determined yet.
