Three individuals tragically died after falling from a cliff in Baitadi district. The victims are:
- Bhim Singh Rawat, 55, from Pachkora, Melouli Municipality–7
- Indra Singh Saud, 61, from Barulojani, Shivnath Rural Municipality–5
- Haruli Karki, 58, from Dhanaki, Dilasaini Rural Municipality–7
According to Baldev Badu, spokesperson and police inspector at the District Police Office, Baitadi, Bhim Singh went missing after visiting the Shivnath Jatra on Wednesday. His body was found on Thursday afternoon about 500 meters below the Ollya cliff in Shivnath–6.
Police reported that Indra Singh Saud also fell from a cliff while returning from the Shivnath festival. Meanwhile, Haruli Karki, who had been missing since Wednesday, was found about one meter below a cliff in Nyoute while cutting grass.
The District Police Office, Baitadi, has stated that further investigation into all three incidents is ongoing.
