According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, the weather across Sudurpaschim Province, Karnali Province, and the western parts of Lumbini Province is being influenced by westerly winds, while the remaining regions are under the weak influence of monsoon and local winds.
As a result, hilly areas of the country are experiencing partly cloudy conditions, whereas most of the Terai region remains generally clear.
During the day, the weather is expected to remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi Province and other hilly regions of the country, while the rest of the regions will have mostly clear skies. There is a possibility of light rainfall at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces.
At night, the weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly areas of Koshi and Gandaki Provinces, while the rest of the country will experience generally clear conditions. There is a chance of light rainfall at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi Province.
