Tosima Karki of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected as a Member of the House of Representatives from Lalitpur Constituency No. 3.
According to the final results announced on Friday evening, Karki secured 31,136 votes to win the seat. Her closest rival, Amrit Khadka of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), received 18,163 votes.
Karki defeated Khadka by a margin of 12,973 votes, ensuring her place in Parliament once again.
She had previously won the election from the same constituency and has now been re-elected, continuing her parliamentary journey from Lalitpur-3.
