Traffic on the Butwal–Narayangadh section, particularly at Daunne, has been disrupted due to muddy and slippery road conditions following recent rainfall.
According to the District Police Office, Nawalparasi (East), vehicles are now moving slowly in one lane at Daunne. The East–West Highway section in this area remains problematic, as heavy mud has made parts of the road slippery and difficult to navigate.
Passengers have faced significant difficulties, and vehicles have been operating alternately in one direction in some sections. Last night, traffic was completely halted near Ghyo Khola as vehicles got stuck in the mud.
Police have advised travelers to exercise caution and assess the road conditions before embarking on their journey.
