The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office is resuming traffic awareness classes for drivers who violate traffic rules such as drunk driving, over-speeding, red light jumping, and lane discipline violations.
According to the office, the classes will be conducted physically at Ramshahpath from Kartik 11 (Tuesday) onward. The classes will be held every day except on public holidays at the following times:
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM
- 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM
- 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
- 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM
On Fridays, classes will run only from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Additionally, to facilitate service seekers who find it difficult to attend during office hours, two extra classes will be conducted every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the traffic police informed.
The Traffic Police has urged all drivers who violate traffic rules to compulsorily attend the awareness classes.
