Traffic movement in both directions has resumed on the Prithvi Highway after it was blocked due to a dry landslide.
According to the Chitwan District Police Office, the landslide occurred at Chumkhola in Ichchhakamana-3 around 9 PM on Sunday, blocking the highway in both directions.
The road was cleared and reopened for two-way traffic late last night after the Road Department’s equipment removed the debris, informed Police Inspector Rabindra Khanal, the office’s information officer.
