A trilateral discussion is being held to create a conducive environment for the upcoming elections between the government, political parties, and the GenZ movement.
At the call of Prime Minister Sushila Karki, the meeting will take place at 4 PM on Wednesday at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.
The government has taken this meeting as an opportunity to ensure cooperation from all sides to make the House of Representatives election scheduled for Fagun 21 fair, free, and fear-free.
According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, top leaders of political parties and leaders of the GenZ movement will participate in the talks. Ministers will accompany Prime Minister Karki on behalf of the government.
The meeting aims to build a common understanding regarding election preparations, the current security situation, and the issues raised by the GenZ movement.
Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel said that this is the first trilateral meeting involving the government, political parties, and GenZ to create an environment for the upcoming election.
He added that discussions and dialogues are being held in phases with political parties and other concerned stakeholders to make the election successful. Earlier on Kartik 4, talks were held between the government and political parties.
