A truck overturned last night at Barpipal Golai in Sakhejung, Ilam Municipality-1, blocking the Mechi Highway.
Following the obstruction, small vehicles were allowed to pass through by opening an alternative roadside path. The cargo truck, coming from the upper road, toppled and got stuck halfway down onto the lower road.
According to Ilam District Police Office, the accident blocked the main highway, causing a long queue of vehicles on the road.
