Turkmenistan has won the title of the Men’s Kava Cup Volleyball Tournament held in Bangladesh. In the final match played yesterday in Dhaka, Turkmenistan defeated Afghanistan 3–2 in a thrilling five-set match to become champions.
Afghanistan started strong by winning the first set 25–20, taking an early lead. However, Turkmenistan bounced back in the second set with a 25–21 victory to level the match. Afghanistan again took the lead by winning the third set 25–18.
Turkmenistan made a comeback once more, winning the fourth set 25–20 to push the match into a decisive fifth set. With strong momentum, Turkmenistan clinched the final set 15–12 and secured the championship title.
Out of the six participating nations, Sri Lanka finished third, host Bangladesh came fourth, Nepal placed fifth, and Maldives ended at the bottom of the table.
