Two journalists were injured after police fired rubber bullets during the Gen Z-led protest in Banishwar on Monday.
Kantipur Television journalist Shyam Shrestha was hit while covering the protest and is currently receiving treatment at Civil Hospital, New Baneshwar.
Meanwhile, Naya Patrika photojournalist Dipendra Dhungana was also injured and taken to the hospital. In addition, Nepalese journalist Umesh Karki sustained minor injuries from rubber bullet fragments.
