In Rasuwa district, at the Solé area of Gosainkunda Rural Municipality–6, two individuals who went missing after a motorcycle accident have been found. One body is being retrieved using rope rescue techniques, while the other was reportedly seen by locals in the same river.
According to Armed Police spokesperson Shailendra Thapa, on Bhadra 15, 24-year-old Sudip Ghale and 23-year-old Dawa Dendup Tamang, residents of Thade in Gosainkunda Rural Municipality–6, went towards Dhunche on motorcycle number AAA–3817. When they failed to make contact, their families filed a search request at the District Police Office, Rasuwa, on the morning of Bhadra 17.
Following the request, CCTV footage from the checkpoint at Nepali Army’s Shreenath Battalion in Dhunche showed the motorcycle heading from Dhunche towards Thade around 10 PM that same night.
Based on the CCTV evidence, a joint search team, including the Nepali Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force from APF No. 20 Gulm, Rasuwa under the command of Deputy Inspector Mohavir Nagal, and trained in disaster management, was deployed on the morning of Bhadra 17.
