The Government of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has granted amnesty to 120 Nepali nationals imprisoned for various offenses.
According to the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi, the remaining prison terms of these individuals have been waived. The embassy stated that the decision was made by the UAE government on the occasion of the Islamic festival of Al Ahad.
