Ujyalo Nepal Party Chair and former minister in the Sushila Karki–led government, Kulman Ghising, has claimed that his party has already delivered results through action and will continue to do so in the days ahead.
Speaking briefly to journalists on Thursday during his visit to the Janaki Temple in Janakpurdham, Chair Ghising said that although the party was formed recently, it has been moving forward organically and steadily. He emphasized that the party prioritizes work over speeches.
“Prime ministers are not made by speeches, but by the people’s choice,” Ghising said, adding that he and his team entered politics to provide leadership themselves and bring meaningful change. He stated that the party’s goal is to clean up political malpractice and establish clean and accountable politics while bringing overall progress to the country.
Ghising noted that economic prosperity and job creation are the party’s main agendas. “We have served before, and in the future too we will bring changes that work in favor of the people,” he said, asserting that if supported by the public, his party is ready to lead the country by forming the government.
After completing meetings in Janakpurdham, Ghising is scheduled to travel to eastern districts of Nepal, according to party central member Manisha Kumar Sah.
