
The Central Secretariat meeting of CPN-UML is set to take place today at 3:00 PM at the party’s central office in Chyasal, according to Rajendra Gautam, head of the UML Publicity Department.
The meeting will discuss three key documents: the political report for the party’s second Statute Convention, the statute amendment proposal, and the organizational report. Gautam said the reports will be debated and endorsed in the meeting before being presented at the convention.
At the convention, Prime Minister and party chair KP Sharma Oli will present the political report, Vice-Chair and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present the statute amendment proposal, and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will present the organizational report.
The UML’s second Statute Convention will be held at the Sunrise Conference Center in Godavari, Lalitpur, from September 5 to 7 (Bhadra 20–22). A total of 2,350 participants, including 2,033 delegates and 317 others, are expected to attend.
