Kathmandu — K.P. Sharma Oli, Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML), has been admitted to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital. He has been assigned to Bed No. 501 in the Annex One building.
Oli was brought to the hospital for a health checkup following his arrest earlier this morning.
As a kidney transplant patient, he was initially placed in Bed No. 27 in the hospital’s Red Zone, where a team led by nephrologist Dr. Rabin Nepali conducted his medical examination.
“After blood tests, video X-rays, and other examinations, Oli has been moved to Bed No. 501,” hospital sources confirmed.
He was transported to the building with Bed No. 501 in his own vehicle.
