The secretariat of the management committee formed to prepare for the CPN-UML’s 11th National Congress held a meeting at the party headquarters in Chyasal.
The meeting, chaired by General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel on Monday morning, discussed and reviewed detailed management plans, participation arrangements, program schedules, and necessary structural preparations, according to the UML Organization Department. The department stated that all subcommittees presented their reports, concluding that preparations for the Congress have reached their final stage.
The UML’s 11th National Congress is set to begin on Mangsir 27. The party said preparations have intensified to successfully conduct the event, with various committees and subcommittees working at a rapid pace.
To finalize the remaining tasks, the management committee secretariat will meet again on Mangsir 25. Earlier, the UML had formed 13 subcommittees for the Congress preparations.
