The Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has registered with the Election Commission today to participate in the proportional representation (PR) system for the upcoming House of Representatives election.
Niraj Acharya, Chief of UML’s Central Election Commission, reached the Election Commission office at Kantipath and submitted the party’s registration application to Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari and other officials.
The Election Commission had opened the PR system registration process from last Saturday. The commission has requested all political parties wishing to take part in this system to submit their applications by 4:00 PM on Mangsir 23.
