An unclaimed female body has been discovered along the Siddhartha Highway in Palpa district. The body of an approximately 35-year-old woman was found in a stream in Rambha-3, Sitapahad, the District Police Office, Palpa, reported.
Police noted that the woman had an injury on her forehead. The circumstances of her death are under investigation. Deputy Superintendent of Police Homprakash Chaudhary stated that authorities are trying to determine whether the woman was a victim of homicide or an accident.
The police said the deceased appears to be of Terai origin. Her body is currently at Mission Hospital in Tansen. Efforts are ongoing to identify her relatives, and further investigation into the incident is underway.
