The Unified Socialist Party has appointed Ghanshyam Bhusal as the party’s coordinator.
A virtual meeting of 67 central members of the party, held on Saturday, decided to reorganize the party and designate former General Secretary Bhusal as its coordinator.
After party chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal announced unification with the CPN (Maoist Centre), Bhusal had expressed disagreement and declared his intention to restructure the party.
The meeting also entrusted Bhusal with the responsibility of holding talks with other political parties and decided to organize a national gathering in the first week of Mangsir.
