
The Unified Socialist Party is holding a Secretariat meeting today to determine the dates for its Standing Committee, Politburo, and Central Committee meetings.
According to party spokesperson Prakash Jwala, the meeting will discuss the current national situation, recent political developments, unity among left and socialist parties, and preparations for the upcoming elections.
The party has announced its decision to participate in the upcoming elections scheduled for February (Fagun), emphasizing the importance of a free and fair democratic process.
Jwala added that the meeting will also endorse cooperation and unity among like-minded political forces. He stated that the party plans to finalize its unification decision with parties aligned under the Socialist Front within the next few days.
