Nepal’s Vice President Ramsahay Prasad Yadav has been admitted to the hospital after falling ill on Monday night.
He was taken at around 9 PM to Manmohan Cardiothoracic Vascular and Transplant Center in Maharajgunj after experiencing discomfort while going to bed.
Cause of Illness
According to hospital director Dr. Ratnamani Gajurel:
- His blood pressure had increased significantly
- He was also suffering from gas accumulation in the stomach
“He was brought to the hospital after feeling uneasy at night, and his blood pressure was high upon arrival,” Dr. Gajurel said.
Current Health Status
Doctors have reported that:
- His condition is now stable and normal
- Some test results have already come back normal
- A few reports are still pending
Treatment and Care
A medical team led by senior cardiologist Dr. Ratnamani Gajurel, along with a gastroenterology specialist, is involved in his treatment.
Vice President Yadav is currently being treated in the hospital’s VIP Cabin No. 701.
Summary
Although he was hospitalized due to high blood pressure and discomfort, his condition has improved and remains stable under medical supervision.
