According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the weather on Thursday afternoon will remain generally cloudy over the hilly regions of the country and partly cloudy elsewhere. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall at one or two places in the hilly and Terai regions.
Similarly, during the night, some areas of Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are likely to witness moderate rainfall. A few hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces may experience heavy rainfall.
The Division has warned that due to rainfall, there is a risk of landslides and debris flows in the hilly regions. Water levels in both large and small rivers and streams may rise, potentially affecting transportation. Authorities have urged the public to remain alert and make necessary preparations.
