According to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology, Nepal is currently experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.
As a result, the Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces are generally cloudy, while the hilly regions are partly cloudy. The remaining Himalayan and hilly areas across the country are experiencing mainly fair weather.
The Department has stated that there is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall at one or two places in the Himalayan regions of Gandaki, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces today. In addition, fog and mist are expected in some areas of the Tarai region.
Furthermore, the higher hilly and Himalayan regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces are likely to remain partly cloudy, while the rest of the areas will experience mainly fair weather.
